Sayema is a mental health counselor based in Metro Vancouver, Canada. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and a postgraduate diploma in Islamic Psychology from the Cambridge Muslim College.
In her practice, Sayema thoughtfully integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with principles from Islamic psychology, offering clients a compassionate, faith-sensitive space to navigate life’s challenges. Her approach is rooted in the belief that healing is not only about symptom relief but also about nurturing deeper meaning.

Sadaf Parkar
Counselling Psychologist
Sadaf holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and has been an RE-CBT practitioner for 10 years. She works with children, teenagers, and adults for relationships and personality disorders.
Sadaf specializes in supporting clients with anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, interpersonal conflicts, and burnout. She approaches therapy from a behavioral paradigm to meet the remedial needs of her clients. At Afiyah Counsel and Care, Sadaf also supports parents and caregivers of children with special needs compassionately.

Mariya Zainab holds an MSc in Clinical Psychology and certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has years of clinical experience in providing psychological support across a range of emotional and behavioral concerns.
Mariya focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, family conflict, self-esteem issues, emotional overwhelm, personal, and spiritual growth challenges. She combines evidence-based techniques with principles of Islamic psychology, offering faith-based support for those seeking guidance.
